A beautiful stained-glass window graces the entryway of our school. It is a depiction of a famous old landmark of our community -- the window tree. This unique tree with multiple trunks used to grow at the edge of a beautiful pasture a few miles from the school. It was a favorite place for picnics, or just resting to meditate on the pastoral beauty. This work of art was done by Rio Glass Works of Healdsberg, CA, in 1985 in memory of Barbara Toews Aaen. The caption "Feed my lambs" is a reference to the commission to the disciple Peter by Christ after His resurrection. It daily reminds the staff and parents of the school of our caring Christian duty toward the students who walk the halls.
